Flower Mound Town Hall, Municipal Court, Library, Senior Center, and Animal Adoption Center will be closed on Monday, July 5, in observance of Independence Day. The Library – which is normally open on Sundays – will also be closed on Sunday, July 4. The Community Activity Center will be open with its regular Sunday hours of 1-6 p.m. on July 4 and will host its Independence Day Splashtacular from 1-5 p.m. that day. The facility will be open with modified hours on Monday, July 5, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Trash, recycling, and bulk material collections will not be affected or delayed. Monday’s customers will be serviced on July 5. As always, Police, Fire, and Emergency Services will remain in operation at all times.
Celebrate America's freedom with the Town of Flower Mound at Independence Fest on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at Bakersfield Park! This year's event will continue to build on the success of previous years to be a great day of celebration, and, as always, admission and parking are FREE! We'll have a fantastic evening program of live music featuring performances by Mark Tyson & the Whiskey Pilots, Le Freak, and headline act Josh Abbott Band. The festival will also include a kid's zone, car show, a showcase of local vendors, food trucks, and a fireworks finale at around 9:50 p.m. Gates open at Bakersfield Park at 5 p.m.
