This class is a mixture of cardio and weights that does not stop once class begins. All muscle groups are trained in all three planes of movements using various equipment. No class is the same and modifications are given as need.
This is a class for all ages and body types! The deep water frees your body to work hard without the impact of hard surfaces, and the float belts worn aid with posture and buoyancy. Zero impact, water resistance, and high energy cardio help participants to improve strength, flexibility, and muscular endurance. Equipment such as hand buoys, noodles, and kickboards are also used for a great workout.
Take classic Zumba® and add the challenge of resistance by using Zumba® Toning Sticks (or light weights). This helps you focus on specific muscle groups so you (and your muscles) stay engaged!
An assortment of card games are being played during this time.
