ORIGINAL POST (Jan. 17, 1:07 p.m.): The Town is looking into expanding and renovating the Community Activity Center (CAC) and is seeking input from the community as part of a feasibility study. Barker Rinker Seacat Architecture (BRS) is working with the Town on the study and is hosting an interactive public input meeting at the CAC (1200 Gerault Rd.) on Tuesday, Jan. 30, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. We want to hear what indoor recreation trends are important to you and what recommendations you have for improving the existing CAC.

Community members will also be able to provide feedback in an online survey that will be available from Jan. 30 until March 1. Once the survey is live, we’ll share it on Facebook and you’ll be able to find it online at www.flower-mound.com/parks. Input gathered through these two forums will be used in the feasibility study, which will provide the Town with in-depth programming, phasing, conceptual design ideas, a business plan, 3D drawings, and cost estimates.

Flower Mound is a healthy, diverse, and vibrant community that continues to grow. As the community thrives and changes, it is important to evaluate the recreation needs of all our residents so the Town can grow with the community. We look forward to your input! For more information or if you have questions, please visit www.flower-mound.com/parks or email us at parks@flower-mound.com.
