Beginning today, Sept. 8, the Possum Park playground will close for upgrades. Crews will be replacing the old play equipment with a new nature-themed playground. When it reopens, the playground will include separate play structures for kids 2 to 5 and 5 to 12, a 5-seat swing set, multiple slides, and engineered wood fiber play surfacing. Check out the renderings below for more details. This playground replacement project is expected to take four to five weeks.
