New Art Display in Town Hall

Andrea Ward stands in front of her paintings on the Town Hall art display wall.

Check out the revamped Town Hall art display! These paintings from artist Andrea Ward were installed this morning. Andrea says her art reflects the beauty she sees in the natural world, and she hopes others will feel joy when they see her renderings of the sky, flowers, and landscapes. Andrea creates her realistic paintings using primarily oil on canvas or watercolor. For her more abstract pieces, she uses acrylics on canvas and wood. You can view these pieces at Town Hall, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until the end of March.
If you recognize Andrea, that’s because one of her artworks is already on display in Flower Mound. In 2021, she was one of the winners of the Town’s Traffic Signal Box Art Contest. You can find her beautiful traffic signal box at the corner of Garden Ridge Boulevard and Spinks Road.
All art displayed on the Town Hall art wall is chosen by the Art Selection Committee, comprised of Town staff and Cultural Arts Commission members. For information on the program, selection criteria, and how to submit artwork for consideration, please visit www.flower-mound.com/artdisplay.
