Historian Bruce Ralston dons his uniform as Sgt. Josiah Ballou of the Union Cavalry to tell stories of his past life as a Civil War soldier. The presentation will include props such as replica weapons and items carried by soldiers. He will cover topics ranging from why we fought, what we ate, and the daily life of a soldier.
