About the Program
The Flower Mound Citizens Fire Academy is a hands-on learning program for residents who want to know more about the Fire Department. The academy is free and open to Flower Mound residents only who are at least 18 years old. Students will have the opportunity to learn basic first aid, hands-only CPR, Fire & EMS operations, and have the chance to participate in live fire training and vehicle extrication.

2023 APPLICATIONS NOW BEING ACCEPTED
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS MARCH 30, 2023 BY 5 P.M.
The 2023 Citizens Fire Academy will be held on Thursday evenings from 7-9 p.m., beginning April 13, 2023 through June 1, 2023. There will also be three Saturday morning classes.
If interested, please complete the Citizens Fire Academy application. Applications can be emailed, faxed, mailed, or dropped off at Flower Mound's Central Fire Station, located at 3911 S. Broadway Ave. The class is limited to 12 residents, so get your application in early.
