Weekly Children's Classes
September 7 - December 16
Registration Information for Weekly Children's Classes
In order to maintain an attendance count that allows for social distancing, all in-person classes will have limited attendance until further notice. Registration is required and open until all of the spots for the class have been filled.
You may choose ONE in-person early literacy class to attend (we suggest the program designed for the youngest child in your group.) Registration is per month. Your registration for a class will give you access to all in-person times for that class (for example, registering for June Leaping Learners gives access to all in-person Leaping Learners times in the month of June.)
Only those who are registered will be allowed to attend the program. Please do not bring anyone who is not registered. Unregistered adults and children (such as school-aged siblings, extended family, etc.) will be asked to wait outside the room. Children under 10 must remain accompanied by a caregiver. If another caregiver is not present, the registered group will not be able to attend the program.
A limited number of spots are available for all class days and times in July.

Wiggly Walkers encourages tots to build early literacy skills through music, books, and rhyme. This class meets Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. in person, and Thursdays at 11 a.m.
Romping Rhymers: Two- and three-year-olds will have a rollicking time reading, singing, and dancing while continuing to build literacy skills at Romping Rhymers on Wednesdays at 11 a.m. in person, and Thursdays at 9:30 a.m.
Leaping Learners: Children ages three to five will share books, sing songs, and develop group listening skills in this class designed as a launch pad to reading. Leaping Learners meets Mondays at 11 a.m. in person, and Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.

Join us as we create, learn, and explore the world around us through science, technology, engineering, art and math! We’ll do exciting projects and experiments together via Zoom. A list of simple materials for you to gather will be provided before each program. Things could get messy, so please wear appropriate clothing! For grades K-5. This program will meet in-person in June and July with limited attendance. Please be sure to indicate the grade the student will be entering in the Fall to assist us in choosing age-appropriate experiments. The Library can only accommodate elementary students in this program, so we ask that younger siblings be left with another caregiver. We recommend that a parent attends with their child, especially for students in grades K-2, as the instructor will not be able to provide hands-on assistance. Because this program has a limited class size, please only select dates you are certain you will be able to attend. Once a class is full, a waitlist will be available in case of cancellations. There will be no admission without registration.
To be added to the waitlist, please fill out this form.
