Applicant needs to submit Tree Removal Permit Application 30 days before the next available Environmental Conservation Commission hearing. ECC meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month. A $250 fee per Specimen or Historic tree proposed for removal is required, not to exceed a total of $1,000 per permit application.
The Town will make the signs for each permit and Environmental Services will contact the applicant when the sign(s) is/are ready for pick up. The cost for each sign is $200. Once the application is submitted, staff will confirm the number of signs required for the project and inform the applicant of the required number of signs and applicable fee.
The sign/s must be placed on the property 15 days prior to the ECC hearing that the item is scheduled on the agenda. Sign/s shall be placed perpendicular to the street and clearly visible. There shall be one sign for each 500 feet of street frontage.
