COVID-19 Frequently Asked Questions

On Monday, November 2 the Library will resume normal operating hours and services:

Monday–Thursday, 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Friday, 11–5 p.m.
Saturday, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday, 1–5 p.m.

Masks are and social distancing are required while in the Library. Hand sanitizer is available at both Library entrances.

How can I get a Library card online?

  • Fill out our online Library card application to begin the registration process.
  • This temporary registration will expire in 30 days.
  • Your account WILL NOT be completely activated until you come to the Library in person with photo identification and proof of a Denton County address.
  • Individuals under the age of 17 MUST have a parent or legal guardian with them when picking up a card.

Can I volunteer at the Library?

The volunteer program is suspended until further notice.

Can I donate used books? When is the next Used Book Sale?

The Library is UNABLE to accept used book donations at this time.
