Street Closures

 

Ada Drive
Beginning Tuesday, July 27 to allow for work associated with the asphalt reconstruction project.  Ada Drive - Oakview Drive to Raintree Drive will be under construction.     Flaggers will be present. Delays should be expected. The work is expected to be complete Tuesday, August 17. 

Bruton Orand Boulevard
Beginning Tuesday, July 20 to allow for street repairs. The northbound left lane at 4000 Bruton Orand Boulevard will be closed. The work is expected to be complete Monday, July 26.  

Country Meadow Drive 
Beginning Wednesday, November 11 to allow for work associated with the Blue Ridge Trail Reconstruction project. Country Meadow Drive will be reduced to one-way northbound from Blue Ridge Trail to Brandywine Drive. The work is expected to be complete  Friday, August 20.

Fairway Drive
Beginning Monday, April 19 to allow for work associated with the Lakeside Village project.  The road work is expected to be under construction in phases and will be complete Friday, August 20.

Forest Vista Drive
Beginning Monday, April 19 to allow for work associated with the Forest Vista Reconstruction Phase II project. The two regular westbound lanes of Forest Vista Drive will be closed between Glen Vista Court and Lake Forest Boulevard. Forest Vista westbound traffic will be diverted to the south side of the median at Glen Vista Court, where the two normal eastbound lanes will function as two way until westbound is diverted back to regular westbound lanes at Lake Forest Boulevard. The Forest Vista Drive outer eastbound lane will be closed between Morriss Road and Glen Vista Court. The work is expected to be complete Tuesday, August 31.

Garden Ridge Boulevard 
Beginning Monday, February 1, to allow for work associated with the Garden Ridge Boulevard Water Line Phase II project. Garden Ridge Boulevard will be reduced to one lane. The lane reductions will occur as work items dictate and will follow the work as it progresses from Crestbrook Drive to Kirkpatrick Lane. The work is expected to be complete Friday, July 16.

High Road
Beginning Tuesday, July 6, to allow for asphalt repair. High Road, from Rolling Hills to Bolo Lane, will be under construction and flaggers will be on site – please expect delays. Weather permitting, the work is expected to be complete Tuesday, July 20.

Lake Forest Drive
Beginning Monday, June 28, to allow for work associated with the Rheudasil Park project. The northbound lane of Lake Forest Drive will be reduced to one lane between Forest Vista Drive and Brook Lane. The work is expected to be complete Friday, July 16.

Lakeside Parkway
Beginning Monday, April 19, to allow for work associated with the Lakeside Village project. Lakeside Parkway will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Edgemere Road to Rockledge Park construction on Fairway Drive will continue under phases, traffic will be open one lane in each direction. The road work is expected to be under construction in phases and will be complete Friday, August 20.

Morriss Road
Beginning Monday, June 7, to allow for work associated with the Morriss Road Water Line Phase II project. Morriss Road will be reduced to one lane. The lane reductions will occur as work items dictate and will follow the work as it progresses from Eaton Street to Cross Timbers Road (FM 1171). The work is expected to be complete Monday, January 31, 2022. 

Beginning Wednesday, July 28, northbound Morriss Road will be reduced to one lane 300-ft south of Cross Timbers to allow for work in the intersection. The work is expected to be complete Friday, August 6. 

Remington Drive
Beginning Tuesday, July 20 to allow for street repairs. The eastbound lane at the 5200 block of Remington Park Drive will be closed. The work is expected to be complete on Wednesday, August 4.

Waketon Road
Beginning Monday, June 28 to allow for work associated with the FM2499 at Waketon Road Intersection Improvements project.     Waketon Road, between Long Prairie Road and Timber Way Drive, will be closed completely to thru traffic. The southbound left turn lane on Long Prairie Road at Waketon Road will also be closed with detour signage in place. The closure will allow for the rebuild and widening of Waketon Road. Once work is completed there will be a left turn lane, a thru lane and a right turn lane for westbound Waketon Road traffic at the intersection of Long Prairie Road. The work is expected to be completed Friday, August 6.

Whitney Lane
Beginning Tuesday, July 20 to allow for work associated with the Colonial Drive Reconstruction Phase II (Whitney Lane to Homestead Street) project. The intersection of Whitney Lane and Colonial Drive will be temporarily closed to traffic. Detour signage for use of Merritt Drive and Sedalia Drive will be in place. The work is expected to be complete Tuesday, August 10.
