October 7, 2013: Status update to the Town Council
Joint Town Council and Planning and Zoning Commission Work Session to receive a presentation, consider, and discuss the Our Master Plan project, including feedback and data compiled during the process, and receive direction on next steps. The work session was conducted at Town Hall (2121 Cross Timbers Road) and was open to the public.

On December 2, the Town Council decided to continue the discussion of the Master Plan at the December 16 meeting. To provide residents the opportunity to ask questions and gain a better understanding of the proposed changes, a Town Hall meeting is scheduled on Tuesday, December 10 beginning promptly at 6 p.m. The meeting was held at Town Hall (2121 Cross Timbers Road) and was broadcast live on FMTV (Grande Cable Channel 12, Time Warner Cable Channel 16, and Verizon FIOS Channel 42) and through the Town’s website at www.flower-mound.com/fmtv. Residents were encouraged to arrive on-time in order to benefit from the responses to all of the questions.
For residents whose schedules are more flexible during the daytime, staff was available at Town Hall on Wednesday, December 11, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to answer questions in a come-and-go format.
Based on the direction from the Town Council the following were the informational topics: • Proposed density standard/cap • Removing or explicitly defining active recreation • Detailing the enhanced zoning process • Sewer
