Geared toward babies who are not yet walking, and their parents/caregivers. The program will take place on Mondays and Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m (except August), and will encourage babies to explore the world of language through books, songs, rhymes, and other activities geared toward motor skill development.Registration is not required.

You’re invited to celebrate the 24th annual “Dreaming in Color - Living the Dream” celebration honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The event kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with an art showcase, followed by keynote speaker Rev. Thomas Bessix, at 6:30 p.m. in the FMHS auditorium. This civic event celebrates the ideals of Dr. King, upholding his mission of eliminating prejudice, and promoting equality of all races and gender. The Town of Flower Mound has been one of several sponsors for this well-attended event over the years, contributing to art, essay, and photo contest winners among students in grades fourth, through twelfth. Entertainment for the evening includes Downing Middle School’s orchestra, Notes of Hope Chorale, African-American Dancers, Oration, and Lewisville High School Harmon Singers. In lieu of an admission fee, attendees are asked to bring canned goods which will be donated to Christian Community Action.
