RIGID HEDDLE WEAVING 


2ND & 4TH MONDAYS AT 1 PM, $8
BLUEBONNET
Instructor Chris DeRose-Chiffolo will teach the interesting art of weaving. This class is great for all levels of abilities. Learn to use different materials to create exciting works of woven art!

YOU CAN PAINT!


3RD WEDNESDAYS AT 10 A.M., $35

Even if you have never held a paint brush or cannot draw a straight line, you will be amazed at the beautiful oil painting you can create in one fun and inspiring lesson.  During a three-hour class, learn the basics of color mixing, brushstrokes, and perspectives while completing a detailed landscape.  All Supplies are provided.  Please see the SIM Newsletter for upcoming projects.

PASSION PAINTING 


TUES • 1 PM • $40 PER MONTH

Find your hidden talent in this painting class designed for beginners and experts alike. Instructor Mary Hull is an expert at teaching people to paint regardless of their experience and abilities. 

CARD STAMPING 


2ND WEDNESDAYS • 10 AM • $10

A Stampin’ Up professional will assist with creating four special, personal cards for family and friends. Fee includes supplies. 

ART JOURNALING 


2ND & 4TH THURS • 1 PM • FREE

Learn how to combine words and art to make a personal journal of self expression. Art Journaling combines many different art techniques including painting, stamping, collage, drawing, and writing. One time fee includes a blank journal and special writing utensils. All other supplies will be provided.

JEWELRY MAKING

Participants will learn to create and complete a unique jewelry project from Recreation Specialist Cheryl Dudich.  All supplies are included.

Bring your latest sewing and quilting projects and meet up with this crafty group. On the third meeting of each month, the group will work on a service project:  making pillowcase dresses for children in Haiti.
